March 1988 The Lord led us to reach out to the broken, hopeless homeless community rapidly growing in the Dallas community. We were allowed to renovate two dormitory buildings located on our newly established ministry at 8733 LaPrada in Mesquite, Texas directly across from East Field College. The property formerly housed the old Dallas Bible College that was then going through the process of forclosure.

It was a battle from start to finish with the Collecting Bank holding the lien on the property refusing to allow us to fairly negotiate for the property. Late December 1989 our ministry was evicted and the property offered instead to NEXUS a drug and alcohol treatment center for women.
